New Geological Registry Established in Ukraine

The State Geology Service of Ukraine has launched a new registry for special permits regarding subsoil usage.

This was reported by the press service of the State Geology Service.

The registry contains information about:

- the date, validity period, and reason for issuing the special permit for subsoil use,

- extensions and modifications to the permit,

- type and purpose of subsoil use,

- details about the subsoil area,

- funding sources for the planned works (public or private funds),

- special conditions, ownership details, and approvals for issuing the permit,

- agreement details regarding the conditions of subsoil use or production sharing agreements.

According to the State Geology Service, the special permit for subsoil use is granted in the form of an electronic extract from the registry. The information contained in the extract is accurate as of the date it is generated.

The registry operates around the clock, except during scheduled maintenance or technical work.

Access to the resource is temporarily restricted during martial law, except for law enforcement agencies and government bodies.

As stated by the head of the State Geology Service, Oleg Hotsynets, preparations are underway for the implementation of state registries for artesian, oil, and gas wells.

Reminder:

Through the app "Diia" users can submit claims to the Loss Registry for compensation for emotional distress due to the disappearance of a close family member.

Ukrainians affected by Russian aggression since February 24, 2022, can now submit six additional categories of claims for compensation to the international Loss Registry via "Diia".

The "Diia" app has added an extract from the Registry of Damaged and Destroyed Property — confirming the destruction of housing or submitted applications for eRestoration.
