Mobile Branches of Oschadbank: A New Banking Service Format
The mobile branches of Oschadbank have become a crucial element of the financial infrastructure in Ukraine, especially in wartime conditions. This project aims to ensure access to banking services in remote and dangerous areas.
In winter 2025, journalists from the "Espresso" channel, along with Oschadbank's management, embarked on a journey through Sumy region to demonstrate how these mobile units operate. They visited villages lacking stationary banks and discovered that local residents needed services such as cash withdrawals and utility payments.
Sumy region consists of 51 territorial communities, 22 of which are in high-risk zones. Oschadbank's mobile unit serves 15 of them, providing residents with access to financial services under difficult conditions.
These mobile branches regularly visit remote areas, offering a wide range of services, including assistance with social payments, salaries, and bank card issuance.
The head of Oschadbank emphasized the importance of returning banking services to communities affected by the war, noting that this is not just about profit, but also about social responsibility.
The "My Barrier-Free" project serves as the foundation for the development of mobile branches that operate in eight regions of Ukraine, ensuring access to financial services for those who need them the most.
