New Opportunities for Veterans and Persons with Disabilities
An innovative project has been launched in Ukraine to support veterans and individuals with disabilities in adjusting to new life circumstances. The Kyiv City Employment Center offers these individuals the chance to participate in this initiative.
The training courses are organized by the State Employment Service. The program includes a wide range of options, from basic training to specialized courses. Participants can choose from 97 vocational professions or upgrade their skills through nearly 400 educational programs. Training is available in various formats: in-person, online, or through a dual system, with the possibility of combining formats for the convenience of learners.
Among the popular training directions are professions such as cooks, cashiers, sellers, tailors, seamstresses, electric welders, electrician fitters, electricians, drivers, and CNC machine operators.
To participate in the program, applicants need to prepare a document package: identification, education documents (if available), a military participant certificate, or disability certification. Individuals with disabilities also need to provide a medical assessment certificate and an individual rehabilitation program.
Applications can be submitted online through the website of the State Employment Service or directly at any employment center.
