Kyiv's Innovative Cluster Established for Science and Education Development
A new scientific and innovative cluster has been launched in Kyiv, based on the Kyiv Research Institute for Socio-Economic Development of the City (NDIRoM). An agreement for joining was signed by representatives from 25 educational institutions of various ownership forms.
The cluster includes leading universities in the capital, such as the Ukrainian State University named after Mikhail Dragomanov and the Kyiv School of Economics.
“The main goal of this alliance is to consolidate efforts to address key issues of the city's development in the scientific and educational spheres,” emphasized NDIRoM director Serhiy Pavlovsky.
During the meeting, the updated Strategy for the Development of Kyiv until 2027 was presented, focusing on safety, inclusivity, and gender equality.
Additionally, the educational project “Become a Student for a Day” was introduced, allowing prospective students to experience being a student at their chosen university.
“This experience will help graduates make an informed choice about their future profession. We invite all universities to participate in this project,” added Pavlovsky.
Furthermore, he announced the start of a competition for startups in the field of artificial intelligence, set to take place in December at the All-Ukrainian Conference “PRO:KYIV.”
