Final Touches on the Veteran Support Center Kyiv Military Hub
On the left bank of Kyiv, the renovation of the new Veteran Support Center named «Kyiv Military Hub» is reaching its final stage. This was reported by the Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Marina Honda.
Currently, the main technical works have been completed: electricity has been connected, ventilation, heating, and air conditioning systems have been installed, and water supply and sewage systems have been established, including elevator equipment.
The final stage is now ongoing – painting of walls and facades, laying of flooring, as well as landscaping around the Center. The Darnytsia district administration will soon begin to arrange the alley and green space.
The total area of the facility will be 812 square meters. The space will be fully inclusive: equipped with ramps, tactile paving, elevators, and barrier-free restrooms.
After opening, veterans and military personnel will be able to access:
- legal and rights consultations;
- psychological support;
- employment and retraining assistance;
- social support and consultations with specialists.
Additionally, the hub will feature sports and rehabilitation rooms, a conference hall for training and events, and a separate room for a psychologist.
Once the renovation works are completed, the furnishing of the premises with furniture, equipment, and technology will commence.
«The opening of the new Center „Kyiv Military Hub“ will be a significant step in developing the city’s support system for veterans and military personnel — aimed at their recovery, adaptation, and reintegration into active life», said Marina Honda.
The project is supported by members of international Samaritan organizations, including partners from Germany, Austria, Latvia, and the organization «White Cross South Tyrol».
