Update on the Metro Construction in Vynogradar
The “Avtostrada” company has reported on the progress of construction at the “Mostytska Station” site in Vynogradar, Kyiv.
Construction Updates in Vynogradar: Key Information
Currently, work is underway at several sections. Specifically, at the “Mostytska Station”, the relocation of utilities and the establishment of a concrete foundation for the pit have begun. Soon, the construction of walls in the soil will commence.
At the section between the “Syrets” and “Mostytska” stations, drilling of the foundation piles for the dismantling shaft has been completed, and the construction of the shaft’s mouth and drilling of dewatering wells has begun.
At the section between the “Mostytska” and “Prospekt Pravdy” stations, work continues on laying two-tier monolithic tunnels, and the pouring of concrete for walls and tunnel ceilings is in progress.
At the “Prospekt Pravdy” station, soil stabilization in the pit is ongoing, alongside the installation of the pit bracing system and the relocation of engineering networks.
The metro expansion project in Vynogradar includes the construction of two new stations - “Mostytska” and “Prospekt Pravdy”.
Tender for Metro Extension in Vynogradar
In May 2024, the “Kyiv Metro” announced a tender for the expansion of the metro network in the Vynogradar area.
In December 2023, “Kyiv Metro” legally terminated the contract with “Kyivmetrobud” due to unsatisfactory construction timelines.
In early November 2024, “Avtostrada Group of Companies” commenced the construction of the metro in the residential area of Vynogradar. The extension of the Syretsko-Pecherska (“green”) metro line will continue from the “Syrets” station.
The construction entails the establishment of two stations - “Mostytska” and “Prospekt Pravdy”. The total construction length will be 3.78 km and will encompass 6 construction sites.
