Emphasizing the significance of the visit, the minister stated that Ukraine can count on the Netherlands' support.
"Day by day, Russia terrorizes Ukrainians with its brutal attacks. Innocent people suffer. As winter approaches, many families are left without electricity and gas. My message to Kyiv today: Ukraine can rely on our full support in the fight against the Russian aggressor", – the minister stated.
It is also important to note that on Wednesday, October 29, early parliamentary elections will take place in the Netherlands,
following the exit of the far-right Freedom Party (PVV) led by Geert Wilders from the cabinet of Dick Schoof in early June, which led to the collapse of the government coalition.
