A 22-year-old man in Kyiv instigated a conflict while drunk, resulting in a stabbing of a stranger. After the incident, he attempted to flee but fell and broke his leg. He could face up to seven years in prison.
Recently, in the Dnipro district of Kyiv, the young man approached a group near a building on Yunosti Street and asked for a cigarette. After being refused, he became aggressive and started cursing.
During the altercation, he pulled out a knife and cut the cheek of a 42-year-old man. Following this, he tried to escape but fell and injured his leg.
Police arrived at the scene to document the incident. Both the victim and the attacker were taken to the hospital.
Investigators, under the supervision of the local prosecutor's office, have charged the attacker with part 4 of article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which carries a penalty of up to seven years in prison.
