Man Sought After Shooting Incident in Kirovohrad Region

Authorities in Kirovohrad are on the lookout for a man who opened fire on police officers.
The shooting incident was reported at 16:03 in the village of Pishchanyi Brid in the Novoukrainka district. While checking documents, a local resident suddenly fired at officers with an unregistered firearm. 
As a result of the shooting, the head of the SRPP sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen, while his partner was injured in the arm.
Currently, measures are being taken to apprehend the assailant, and a special police operation has been launched in the region.
