Tragic Explosion in Kyiv Region: Woman Killed and Man Injured

A tragic incident occurred in the Kyiv region due to an explosion, resulting in the death of a woman and serious injuries to a man. The investigation into this event has been initiated under the guidance of the Brovary District Prosecutor's Office.
The explosion took place in the village of Morozivka, part of the Barishivka community, around 10:00 AM on September 15. Preliminary reports indicate that an unidentified object exploded near a trash bin, leading to the death of a 57-year-old local resident. A 40-year-old man sustained injuries and has been hospitalized.
Emergency responders, investigators, and bomb disposal experts are currently at the scene, conducting examinations, collecting evidence, and interviewing witnesses. All circumstances and the origin of the explosive device are being established.
