A 23-year-old local resident in Kyiv, while intoxicated, stepped onto the roadway and obstructed drivers. When the bus driver confronted him, the offender smashed the bus door glass with his knee and began harassing passengers.
Recently, the Kyiv police received a call via emergency line 102 from the bus driver reporting that a man was blocking public transport. When asked to leave the road, the intoxicated individual broke the door glass of the bus with his knee, then entered the vehicle and started bothering the passengers.
Upon arrival, the police apprehended the 23-year-old troublemaker under the provisions of Article 298-2 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The man is currently being held in a temporary detention facility.
The Dnipro police department has initiated a criminal investigation under Part 1 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for gross violation of public order. The man faces up to five years of imprisonment.
