The Kyiv prosecution office is calling on the city authorities to ensure that residents have access to the Dnipro embankment in the Darnytskyi district, as mandated by a Supreme Court ruling. The prosecution has reached out to the Kyiv City Council to enforce this ruling, which states that a private company can no longer manage the hydraulic structures located at Dnipro Embankment Street 14.
It should be noted that the private entity previously fenced off the area, claiming ownership rights and restricting access to the Dnipro embankment for individuals not residing in the nearby residential complex.
Despite the Supreme Court's decision, which annulled the private structure's ownership rights as per the Kyiv prosecution's lawsuit, numerous fences obstructing access to the embankment have not yet been removed voluntarily.
Consequently, the city's relevant services are required to dismantle these barriers. Press service of the Kyiv prosecution office.
