Rehabilitation Center for Children and Youth Under Construction in Kyiv

In Kyiv, reconstruction efforts are ongoing for a building that will become a Center for the comprehensive rehabilitation of children and youth with disabilities. This was reported by Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Marina Honda.

She noted that the design of the facility began before the full-scale invasion. The center will be part of a unified city rehabilitation space and will assist over 1,600 residents with disabilities, including approximately 700 young people and more than 900 children. Marina Honda expressed hope that the contractor will fulfill their obligations and complete the main construction work by the end of 2025. Upon opening, the center will provide integrated medical, psychological, and social support for children and youth with disabilities.
