Kyiv's Floral Arrangements for Independence Day
In Kyiv, beautiful floral arrangements are starting to adorn the city's landscapes. The main flowers will include colorful begonias and cinerarias. Soon, city workers will begin the autumn greening by planting trees. For instance, a themed flower bed titled ‘Snake Island. Lighthouses of Ukraine’ is being created at Holosiivska Square, featuring ageratum, begonia, and other plants.
On August 22, ‘Kyivzelenbud’ promises to present all 10 floral compositions created for Independence Day.
In the Darnytsia district, a flower bed called ‘Vasylkivska Maiolica’ is being created on Mykola Bazhan Avenue, using cineraria and alternanthera.
In the Desnyansky district, a themed flower bed titled ‘In Unity and Memory - Our Strength and Victory’ will be displayed with various plants.
At the transport interchange near the ‘Livoberezhna’ metro station, a flower bed named ‘Everything Great on Earth Begins with a Grain’ will feature an array of flowers.
Residents are invited to the Obolon district on Obolonsky Avenue, where the flower bed ‘The Rising Ukrainian Sun’ will enhance the city's beauty.
In the Pechersk district, a floral display named ‘The Dream Aircraft Mark’ will also be created with diverse plants.
The Podil district is forming a flower bed titled ‘Official Emblem of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’, while the Solomyansky district honors volunteers in ‘Vidradnyi’ park with the arrangement ‘Volunteers’.
In the Sviatoshyn district at ‘Hamburg’ park, a flower bed named ‘Ukrainian Pixel’ is under construction, and in the Shevchenkivskyi district, a flower bed called ‘Windmills of Ukraine’ is being designed.
After the Independence Day celebrations, ‘Kyivzelenbud’ is set to plant over 2000 new trees, enriching the city’s green spaces.
