Appointment of New Director for Economic Security Bureau

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved Alexander Civinsky's appointment as the head of the Economic Security Bureau.

This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko via Telegram.

"Today the government decided to appoint Alexander Civinsky as the director of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine," she wrote.

The Prime Minister assured that there are no objections to Civinsky's candidacy following the decision of the competition commission, necessary checks, and polygraph tests.

"We expect to see improvements in the Bureau's operations, a strengthening of the institution, and the establishment of significant trust between the Bureau and Ukrainian entrepreneurs. It is crucial that economic relations in Ukraine remain free from shadow schemes and that businesses can count on respect from the state," she added.
