SBU Arrests Another Agent Assisting Enemy Attacks in Kharkiv
The Security Service of Ukraine has apprehended another agent working for the Russian FSB, aiding in targeting missile strikes on Kharkiv.
This informant was involved in adjusting the enemy's massive strikes, relaying coordinates of Ukrainian forces and air defense systems.
The primary goal of his activities was to identify the locations of Ukrainian military and their equipment, allowing Russian forces to inflict maximum damage. Investigations revealed that the arrested individual was a 42-year-old local resident with anti-Ukrainian sentiments expressed on social media.
During air raid alerts, he would go out onto his balcony to observe the actions of Ukrainian air defense, marking potential targets on maps and sending them via anonymous chats.
The enemy planned to use advanced missile weaponry to strike significant targets.
Timely action by the SBU led to the exposure and arrest of the traitor. During searches of his residence, a phone containing evidence of his connections with the enemy was found.
He has been charged under Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The perpetrator is currently in custody, facing up to 8 years in prison. The operation was conducted by SBU officers under the guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.
