Illegal Construction in Kyiv: Company Director Under Investigation

Police from the Desnyansky district, under the guidance of the local prosecutor's office, have documented illegal activities of a resident of Troieshchyna.
The suspect is the director of a company that rents out commercial spaces. During the pre-trial investigation, it was revealed that the director sought to expand his business activities.
He unlawfully occupied a 420-square-meter land plot belonging to the Kyiv community, poured a foundation, and erected structures for a facility he intended to lease to other entrepreneurs for profit.
Investigators have charged the man under Part 3 of Article 197-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for illegal occupation of land and unauthorized construction. The article stipulates a penalty of up to three years of restriction of freedom.
