A new dog park designed for the training and exercise of dogs has been inaugurated in Kyiv's Obolon district.
The training and relaxation area for pets covers a total area of 1,250 square meters.
This was announced by Serhiy Saburov, the acting director of the Department of Environmental Protection.
“The park was established by our communal enterprises — specifically, the Kyiv Municipal Veterinary Medicine Hospital in collaboration with the Obolon District's Utility Company, as part of the city’s animal management program,” Saburov stated.
The park features training equipment and specialized bins to ensure a safe and active environment for both people and animals.
Saburov added that there are plans to set up another dog park in the Orlyatko Park in the Solomyansky district, expected to be opened by the end of this year.
The department encourages visitors to take care of the equipment and clean up after their pets.
