From July 7 to 9, Kyiv is expected to experience a critical level of fire hazard. This warning has been issued by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
The Kyiv City State Administration urges residents and visitors to the capital to exercise caution when enjoying nature, refrain from building fires in inappropriate locations, avoid using defective electrical equipment, and adhere to fire safety regulations.
The authorities also remind everyone of the prohibition on accessing forests and park areas during wartime, both for walking and in vehicles. This decision by the Kyiv Defense Council remains in effect.
It is noted that there is a strict ban on burning dry grass in Ukraine, with administrative penalties for violations:
for individuals — from 6,120 to 12,240 UAH;
for officials — from 21,420 to 30,600 UAH.
Additionally, according to Article 152 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, lighting fires in prohibited areas can result in fines ranging from 340 to 1,360 UAH.
We remind you that the patrol police have announced traffic restrictions in Kyiv due to the heat.
