The Security Service of Ukraine has arrested an FSB agent who was directing missile strikes on Kyiv.
According to the investigation, a 17-year-old high school graduate was recruited via Telegram channels offering «easy money».
The main task of the agent was reconnaissance: he received coordinates from his handler and was to document the technical condition of potential targets.
The enemy was particularly interested in energy facilities, defense headquarters, and air defense systems protecting the capital's airspace.
SBU operatives apprehended the suspect near a military unit for which he was preparing a report.
A phone was confiscated from him, on which he had taken photographs of the targets identified by his Russian handler.
Investigators have charged him under Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law).
The suspect is currently in custody, facing life imprisonment and asset confiscation.
Complex operations were conducted by SBU personnel in Kyiv and the surrounding region under the supervision of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
