In Kyiv, three individuals were rescued during a fire extinguishing operation.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Information about the fire in the Shevchenkivskyi district was received today, June 29, at 13:11.
The fire broke out in a five-story building on Danylo Shcherbakivskyi Street, specifically in one of the apartments on the first floor.
«The fire, covering an area of 8 sq. meters, was extinguished by 13:45. During the firefighting and reconnaissance efforts, due to heavy smoke, rescuers brought three individuals to safety», — the report from the emergency service states.
Authorities will now investigate the cause of the fire.
