Exhibition Unveiling the Truth About the War in Ukraine
In the city of Strasbourg (France), a new exhibition titled «Displays of Horror» was launched at the European Parliament.
This exhibition, dedicated to the crimes of Russian forces in Ukraine, is being presented for the first time in a location where crucial European decisions are made.
The exhibition was organized by the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in World War II, emphasizing that the artifacts displayed carry significant meaning.
«Each artifact is a testament to a real crime committed by Russian aggressors: shelling of the „Okhmatdyt“ children’s hospital in Kyiv, the establishment of a concentration camp in the village of Yahidne, mass killings in Izyum, with victims buried in mass graves, and bombing of a printing house in Kharkiv…», — the museum stated.
Among the attendees at the exhibition opening were President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, the project’s author and curator, Member of the European Parliament Ondřej Kolář, and Ukraine's representative in the Council of Europe Boris Tarasyuk.
General Director of the Museum of War Yuriy Savchuk, during his speech, mentioned the latest high-profile crime committed by the Kremlin, the missile and drone strike on Kyiv, which claimed more innocent lives in the tragic timeline of the war. He emphasized that holding criminals accountable is a duty of the civilized world to those who can no longer speak for themselves.
The exhibition has resonated strongly within the political heart of the European Union, reminding European parliamentarians of the simple axioms: Ukraine needs support in this struggle, and evil must be punished. Let each displayed artifact become a word in the verdict against Russian criminals, to be issued by the highest international courts.
The museum expresses heartfelt gratitude for the initiative and leadership in realizing this project to Member of the European Parliament Ondřej Kolář.
