New Opportunities for Ukrainian Speakers Worldwide
Ukrainian audio guides have been launched in Luxembourg and Azerbaijan. This initiative was announced by Olena Zelenska, the First Lady of Ukraine, as part of a project aimed at promoting the Ukrainian language in global cultural sites.
Thanks to this initiative, a total of 102 Ukrainian-speaking audioguides have been established in 53 countries.
The Ukrainian audio narration is now available at the National Museum of Natural History in Luxembourg.
«This project vividly illustrates the long and challenging journey that all nations share towards humanity. It emphasizes the importance of caring for others and the environment. For us in Ukraine, this issue is particularly painful, as the war unleashed by Russia threatens not only our lives but also our natural heritage», – emphasized the First Lady.
The Ukrainian audio tour is also now available on the Caspian Sea coast at the world's first tanker-museum, «Surakhani», docked in Baku.
«Ukrainians visiting Luxembourg or Azerbaijan will have the opportunity to see and hear about cultural landmarks in their native language. This will help them better understand these new countries and perhaps even their own history. Museums unite the world by sharing what is important to everyone, and our language is doing the same through the Ukrainian audioguide project», – concluded Olena Zelenska.
