Independent Music Festival
This weekend, on May 17-18, 2025, Kyiv will host the 11th independent music festival "Strichka" at the former Strichkotkatska factory (31 Nyzhnyoyurkivska St.).

The festival promises a lineup of 50 artists, 7 dance floors, unique decorations, and a diverse food court.
This year's event will be marked by authenticity, featuring both Ukrainian performers and international guests willing to perform during the ongoing war.
The organizers will create a space where "both body and spirit can relax," with decorations by Masiks Production, lighting solutions by Blck Box, and a convenient connection between dance floors.
The "Strichka" festival started in 2014 as an intimate party and has become an important cultural event in Ukraine over 11 years, featuring stars like Alva Noto, Helena Hauff, Luke Slater, and others.
Program of the "Strichka" Festival
The festival will kick off on Saturday, May 17, at 2:00 PM at the Dvir and Garden locations. On Sunday, May 18, the event will continue from 10:00 AM until sunset at the Lisny Prichal location.
Fifty artists will perform at the festival, including 9 international guests:

Nearly half of the performances at the festival – 21 – will be live or specially prepared sets.
On the "Strichka" stage, local Ukrainian artists will perform alongside electronic music legends. The lineup is curated by the Closer art center team, and a full artist list is available on the festival's official website.
Support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the "Strichka" Festival
The "Strichka" festival supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase merchandise and 3D products from Balista.lab, with proceeds going to the needs of soldiers.

- Entry: from 19 years old.
- Military personnel: free with a document.
- Photography/video: allowed if it does not disturb others.
- Coat check and lockers are available.
- Parking: not provided.
