Kyiv Film Festival Celebrating Kyiv Day: A New Perspective

The "October" cinema, in collaboration with the Dovzhenko Center, will host the "Kyiv Film Fest" from May 22 to 26 in honor of Kyiv Day.
This year's theme, "Kyiv Through the Ages", invites audiences to experience the changing portrayal of Kyiv through classic and contemporary films, spanning from the medieval era to the revolutionary 1920s and the tumultuous 1990s to the present day.
The festival will kick off with the film "Wild Love" (1993) by director Vilen Novak, which will be freshly scanned with the support of the "October" cinema.
The story follows Maksym, a young man from a so-called successful family, who falls for Masha, a girl from an orphanage. Things take a turn when an American woman, Susan, arrives, creating a dramatic love triangle.
