The data center that experienced an outage affecting banks and other services has restored operations for most clients.
This was confirmed by De Nova's CEO, Maxim Ageev.
According to him, the power outage at the data center lasted from 8:03 to 8:17. The reasons for the incident are still unknown, although Ageev dismissed the possibility of a cyberattack.
He mentioned that maintenance work was being carried out at the data center when an automatic power switching system malfunctioned, blocking access to the backup power supply.
Ageev noted that De Nova has restored its services for most clients, who are now beginning to resume operations, but some companies are still "in line" and will recover within a few hours.
