The Kyiv police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an incident where a man was shot in the Sviatoshyn district early on April 22.

According to law enforcement: "The report of a man found with a gunshot wound in the Sviatoshyn district came in at 8:50 AM. The leadership of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv, territorial police officers, dog handlers, and medical personnel were dispatched immediately to the scene."
Details: The victim has been hospitalized.
A crime scene investigation team and other emergency services are working at the site.
"Kyiv police are determining the circumstances and searching for individuals involved in the crime. Investigators have opened a criminal proceeding under Part 2 of Article 15 and Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – attempted murder," police reported.
"Ukrainian Truth" attempted to gather more details about the incident, but police in the Sviatoshyn district stated they currently do not have additional information.
