Former light heavyweight champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk (21-2, 17 KOs) claimed victory over American boxer Anthony Galloway (9-7-4, 7 KOs).
Gvozdyk controlled the match throughout, dominating every round. In the third round, he knocked his opponent down twice, leading the referee to stop the contest.
Gvozdyk's last fight was in June of the previous year against American David Benavidez, where he competed for the interim WBC title. The match went the distance, lasting all 12 rounds, and ended with a unanimous decision in favor of Benavidez.
Previously, the boxer expressed his willingness to change weight classes for the chance at championship bouts.
