Arrest of Three Men for Brutally Beating a Teenager
In the Kyiv region, law enforcement has detained three men who committed a brutal attack on a 16-year-old boy.
The perpetrators filmed their actions on a phone, which serves as additional evidence of their guilt. The minor suffered physical injuries and severe emotional distress.
The incident was reported by the victim's brother, as stated by the police department in the Bila Tserkva district.
Within an hour, the police located the assailants. They turned out to be a 29-year-old man and two 26-year-olds from the Malovishanska community.
“During searches at the suspects' residences and the crime scene, items confirming their involvement in the crime were seized,” reported the senior communications inspector.
All three were arrested and placed in a detention center. The court selected a preventive measure of custody without the right to bail for 60 days.
Investigators charged the men with part 2 of article 127 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – torture committed by a group of individuals in premeditated conspiracy.
The court decided to keep the suspects in custody for 60 days without bail. They face up to 10 years in prison for their actions.
Previously, there were reports of other incidents of violence against teenagers. For example, in the Poltava region, four minors bullied a 10-year-old boy, filming it on video.
In Truskavets, a group of teenagers assaulted an 18-year-old boy with a disability, recording the attack and posting it on social media.
Additionally, the police in Lviv region opened a criminal case against a 15-year-old girl who brutally beat her 16-year-old friend.
