B8 Secures Spot at Austin Major 2025

The Ukrainian esports team B8 has successfully defeated Astralis in a match that grants them entry to one of the most prestigious tournaments of the season in Counter-Strike 2 – BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
The match ended with a score of 2:1. The "B8" team managed to secure victories on the maps Mirage and Ancient, despite losing on Inferno.
This marks the first time B8 will participate in the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. They also became the second team in history to qualify for the major with five Ukrainian players in their roster.

On their way to the Major, B8 lost to Metizport and SAW, but then eliminated the Russian team PARIVISION, Belize's BC.Game, and another Russian club 9Pandas, as well as defeating ENCE with a Ukrainian player on the roster.
We remind you that the qualification tournaments in Europe will take place from April 14 to 17. The Austin Major 2025 will be held in the USA from June 2 to 22, with a prize pool of $1,250,000. Another Ukrainian team, NAVI, has already qualified for the Major.
Earlier, information surfaced that Lviv is competing to host the esports world championship.
