On April 13, a 41-year-old Ukrainian man was detained at the Polish border, wanted by Interpol.
During the passport check, border guards discovered that he was sought by U.S. law enforcement.
The U.S. issued a request for his arrest due to allegations of involvement in cybercrimes, which could result in up to 10 years in prison.
The court approved the prosecutor's request for his detention.
Since the beginning of 2025, Polish border guards have apprehended 50 individuals wanted in Poland and other countries.
Earlier, a Ukrainian soldier was arrested in Poland after being on the run from justice for over two years.
He fled the country to avoid punishment related to a traffic accident that injured many.
After extensive searches, the Polish police detained him and will hand him over to Ukrainian authorities.
