Google has announced it will no longer utilize country code top-level domains for its search services. From now on, all queries will be managed through google.com.
URLs ending with country-specific domains will now automatically redirect to the main site.
Since 2017, Google has been using location data to provide search results based on your geographical location. With this change, it doesn't matter if you enter a query via a country-specific URL or google.com; you will always receive results that reflect your actual location.
The company states that this change will not affect search results and will uphold compliance with the laws of various countries.
