Oksana Livach: Golden Victory at the European Wrestling Championship

Outstanding Ukrainian wrestler Oksana Livach performed brilliantly in the final of the European Championship in the 50 kg weight category.

In the decisive match, Livach triumphed over the 5-time continental medalist from Turkey, Evin Demirhan, with an impressive score of 8:0.

On her way to the final, she defeated the 'neutral Russian' Nadezhda Sokolova with a score of 2:1, and previously bested French competitor Emma Lutenhauer without giving her any chances - 7:0.

This victory marks Livach's second European title, having first won the championship in 2019. It was her fourth final at the European level.

This is Ukraine's second medal at the tournament this year. Earlier, Andriy Dzhelep secured a bronze medal in the 61 kg category.

The European Championship commenced on April 7, and over the course of the week, wrestlers from various styles will compete for 30 medals across ten weight categories.
