Military Priority for Marriage Registration via "Diya"
Ukrainian defenders now have priority in selecting dates and times for marriage registration through the "Diya" application.
This information is provided by the press service of the portal.
"Due to the high demand for online marriages via "Diya", a priority registration for defenders has been launched," the announcement states.
For those serving in the Defense Forces who wish to marry online, the following steps are required:
open the Army+ app;
go to Services;
select Online Marriage.
You will then be directed to "Diya", where the system will show available dates considering your priority and provide a separate registration for online marriage. Next, fill out the application, choose whether to change your last name after marriage, specify where to send the marriage certificate, and confirm everything with Diya.Signature.
"On the day of your marriage registration, follow the link in "Diya" for the online ceremony, where a Digital Registry Office employee will be waiting for you. The marriage process lasts up to 30 minutes. All you need is a smartphone and an internet connection," the representatives of "Diya" reported.
It is noted that over 4,000 couples have officially married online, about 19,000 have submitted applications, and more than 2 million have made proposals through "Diya".
