Kyiv Metro: Updates and Passenger Statistics
Last week, nearly 5 million people used the Kyiv metro, including 1.3 million benefiting from discounts. This information was provided by the KP «Kyiv Metro».
Currently, the company is conducting scheduled maintenance work on the infrastructure. Specifically, 17 wooden sleepers, 16 switch beams, and 112.5 meters of rail line have been replaced. Additionally, a major repair of escalators at the «Lybidska» station is ongoing.

Due to passengers not adhering to metro usage rules, escalator stoppages occur. Last week, there were 88 escalator stoppages for various reasons. Specifically, the escalator was stopped 4 times unnecessarily, 50 times to prevent injuries, and 25 times due to personal belongings. The organization urges everyone to follow the metro usage rules.
