Kyivstar Granted Approval to Acquire Tabletki.ua
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has finally allowed Kyivstar to gain control over the owner of the Tabletki.ua service, LLC "MTPK" after several attempts.
The committee made this decision on January 29, 2026.
As a reminder, in 2022, Kyivstar acquired a controlling stake in the healthcare digital platform Helsi and increased its share in Helsi from 69.99% to 97.99% in May 2025.
In early 2025, attempts by Kyivstar to purchase Tabletki.ua first came to light. According to the AMC, Kyivstar submitted an application to acquire the online drug reservation service in November 2024, which was initially rejected. In February 2025, Kyivstar approached the AMC again with a renewed application for the acquisition of LLC "MTPK".
In August 2025, the Antimonopoly Committee expressed concerns that the merger of Helsi and Tabletki.ua could lead to market monopolization, as the combined market shares could exceed 35%. However, on January 29, 2026, the regulator allowed the deal.
Tabletki.ua is a platform where users can find and reserve medications at pharmacies. Founded in 2010, it now boasts nearly 10 million users. The introduction of a reservation feature in 2015 significantly boosted the business, and it currently collaborates with 12,000 pharmacies across Ukraine.
According to Forbes Ukraine, the value of Tabletki.ua could reach $30-80 million, and for the first nine months of 2024, the company reported a revenue of 517 million UAH, an 88% increase compared to 2023.
Additionally, reports surfaced last week regarding Kyivstar's intention to acquire a stake in the COMFY electronics retail chain, but sources indicate that this deal will not materialize.
